DeRonde/Deroo has been awarded the Wim Bary Stipendium by the Cultuurfonds.
The jury praised DeRonde/Deroo as one of the most innovative voices in mime theatre.
"Their performances are not only technically strong, but also immerse the audience in a rich visual universe. Their work is visually stunning; cinematic without a camera and poetic without words."
DeRonde/Deroo will tour their new creation "Hou Vast" (Hold On) in January in collaboration with Het Houten Huis. Starting in May 2026, "It really hurts when your head hits the concrete" will tour across European festivals.
